Obituary of Susan Jacobs Carr

Susan Jacobs Carr, a native Sullivan County resident passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. She was 66. The daughter of the late Abraham and Lillian Ratner Jacobs, Susan was born on June 24, 1955, in Middletown, NY.

Susan was remembered for her love and loyalty of family and friends. She was a proud graduate of Fallsburg Central High School – Class of 1973. She then furthered her education in Boston, MA to become a Pharmacist.

She is survived by her (2) brothers; Stephen Jacobs and Howard Jacobs and their wives; Norma J. (Lambert) Jacobs, BettyLou (Patton) Jacobs, as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Susan was predeceased by her brother, Edward Jacobs.

A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home, 388 Broadway, Monticello, NY 12701. A service will take place at 5:00pm in the funeral home chapel officiated by Pastor Joe Roach.

Memorial contributions in Susan’s name may be made to your local fire department or ambulance corps.
