Lynne Rosh

Obituary of Lynne F. Rosh

Boynton Beach, FL

Lynne Rosh, a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, died peacefully on November 18, 2022. She was the daughter of Hyman and Mildred Morgenstein.

In 1945, Lynne was born in Manhattan, New York, on the lower east side and her parents raised her alongside her sister, Meryl, in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Lynne took pride in growing up in Brooklyn, never losing her heavy accent that especially shone through when telling a funny story or her love of hot dogs, knishes, and bialys that reminded her of her childhood.

As a child, Lynne would spend her summers with her family outside of Brooklyn in the Catskills at Schrieberville Bungalow Colony, and the Catskills would be where she eventually fell in love with Herman, her devoted husband of over 56 years.

In her early 20s, Lynne made it a priority to start a loving family, and she did just that.

Lynne and Herman met in Swan Lake, New York while working at the Stevensville Hotel, and the pair got married in May of 1966. Herman and Lynne had two children, David and Gregg.

Family came first for Lynne as she and Herman raised their children in a household filled with warmth, love, and kindness.

Perhaps one the most well-remembered things about Lynne will be her laugh which was ever present at all family gatherings. It filled a room and spread throughout it, causing those around her to join in. The smile that went along with that laugh was just as radiant.

As the years passed, her smile continued to reach more and more people around her. Lynne truly enjoyed each phase of her life and with each moment, she created new memories. Those who shared those memories with Lynne will continue to share those stories for generations to come.

Lynne especially loved that each day brought new opportunities to create special moments with her family.

Lynne is survived by her husband Herman Rosh, her son David Rosh and his wife Jessica (Klafter) Rosh, her son Gregg Rosh and his wife Jessica Rosh, her sister Meryl Morgenstein and her six grandchildren: Jamie, Lauren, Emma, Sydney, Carly, and Max.
