Obituary of Robert Lawrence Glatzer

Monticello, NY

Mr. Robert L. Glatzer, a resident of Monticello, NY passed away peacefully on Monday, June 19, 2023, at the Achieve Center for Nursing and Rehab in Liberty. He was 79. 

"Bobby" was born on December 27, 1943, in the Bronx to the late Irving and Betty Oretsky Glatzer.  He spent over 30 years as a waiter at the Concord Hotel.  Bobby loved spending time at the racetrack, playing poker and more recently at the flea market.

He will be truly missed by Kim and Reva.  He is also survived by friends Marilyn and Oscar, his niece Jody, nephew Steven, cousin Sharon, as well as his friends from the hotel, racetrack and flea market.

He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Arlene, his niece Caren and his faithful dog, Bread and Butter.

A graveside funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at 1:00pm at the Brotherhood Cemetery, Thompson Road in Monticello, NY.
