Obituary of Marc Jason Shulman

Monticello, NY

Marc Jason Shulman, 79, passed away on October 26, 2023. Born on December 7, 1943, Marc spent most of his life in the Catskills - growing up in Liberty NY and then living in Monticello NY, later in life. 

Marc was known for his friendly and warm personality and had a particular fondness for the Catskills, where he loved going on long drives and sharing memories.

More than anything, Marc loved spending time with and talking about his five grandsons and one granddaughter.

Marc is survived by his children, Alyssa (Dov) Strulowitz and Neil Shulman and his grandchildren, Samuel, Benjamin and Zachary Strulowitz and Meir Leib, Yehuda and Basya Shulman. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Edith Shulman, as well as his sister Stephanie and her husband Robert Heigh.

A graveside service will take place on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 11:00am at the Landfield Avenue Synagogue Cemetery, Thompson Road, Monticello, NY.
