Learning of this news brings much sadness. I am unable to be there today to pay respects and say goodbye. Sylvia, was just one of these truly remarkable woman who no matter what had time for everyone. My years at temple sholom were marked with so many great conversations, advice and looking forward to seeing her again. My daughter really connected with Sylvia and helped us during a most difficult time when we had lost both my parents, and my sister in law in earlier years to ovarian cancer. I know the struggle, but Sylvia.. A very courages and brave woman fought to the end. May it bring you some comfort knowing how this gifted woman you had in your lives touched so many and will be in our thoughts always.
