Ida:
Even though we knew Steve for the last five years, he made us feel like we were lifetime friends. The courage he demonstrated over the last several years is beyond description, and his desire to live for you and your families was certainly due to his love for you. Our only regret is that we didn't spend more time with him. A great man who will be sorely missed by us, and everyone he came in contact with. He is now at peace, and he will be your guardian angel watching over you forever.

We feel so blessed to have spent several meaningful times together with Steve and Ida over the many years they shared together. Steve was always a GentleMan and always considerate of everyone. Our deepest sympathy to dearest Ida and the family. We loved Steve! It was such a pleasure to have Steve and Ida in our home. We enjoyed all of our times together in New York and Atlanta. Steve was such a humble and loving man. How he loved all his family! He just beamed every time he spoke of all his children and those Grands!!! His relationship with Ida went far beyond measure of a husband for his adoring wife. His attitude of life, of his family, of his illness was always positive. He was willing to accept whatever God had in store for him, while enjoying every moment with loved ones til the end. We shall miss him!
