I knew the Kotin family ever since I lived and grew up in South Fallsburg.
John Kotin was a vey personable man with a heart of gold. He made
many friends and had a great dairy business, which he had done very
well in making it a great place to go to for even some very delicious deli
items. I miss John as he was a great person to talk with and a lot of fun.
He, also, had a kindhearted, angelical, outgoing sociable spirit about him.
He was very friendly to the people he served and was always willing to
help when needed. To the family of John Kotin, I wish to express my
deepest sympathy to all his loving family and friends, and he truly will be
missed greatly by many--even me. John, my mom, brother, and I knew
you, and we know that you now reside in the most beautiful of all places
and and we know that you are with your family and many friends, in
spirit. Take care, my dear friend, and we know that you have done a
great job while on earth. I miss all those fun days during the hotel
heyday, and seeing and talking to you everyday. My prayers are with
you.

We have sent condolences by way of other means (cards, calls, etc.), but we want to reiterate our sympathy to all of the family for their loss.
We knew John well and loved and respected him---as a friend and a
professional. It was always a pleasure to visit him in his office, as he made
the visit comfortable and we always knew we were in the best of hands. He was the same warm, engaging person in his social life and we
spent many hours in his company
John was known and liked throughout the community for so many years
and by so many people. He will be greatly missed.

To Sandra, Stacy and Bryan,
It is with great sadness that I acknowledge the passing of our sweet and wonderful friend and trusted dentist. Johnny was the only dentist Stan ever trusted and when we left Sullivan County, Stan never wanted to see anyone else. Johnny will forever be remembered as a smart, gentle fellow who always tried to do the best for his family and his friends. The last of the good guys!
I know you are free from earthly cares and suffering now, laughing and discussing the stock market with Stan right this very minute!

Wishing my sincerest regrets to Stacey, and her children, MItchell and Daniel, and to Bryan, and his children, Jake and Jillian. Stacey and Bryan, you father, who was a kind and gentle man, loved both of you very much. MItch, Danny, Jake & Jillian, you guys had a very special poppi and I know he loved all of you to pieces.
Johnny was a special man. The kindness that was in Ada's heart was passed down to him, and that touched all of us for the better. He will be sorely missed.
