I went to school with Sam at JYCS, class of '59! Years later I saw him at some of the class reunions. Sam always had a ready smile and a tale to tell! I'm sure he was a formidable lawyer and prosecutor.

If this is a duplicate, my apologies. lost my internet connection just as I posted this the first time.
Sam was a volunteer staffer for 24 years with the Americade motorcycle rally in Lake George, NY. He rode on my, and my co mini-tour leader, Dennis Bradt,s crew for most of those years. He was a valued asset to our staff, and he was often our go-to fix-it man out on the road, when an attendee had a flat, or breakdown, where his farmer background came it very handy. He was a lawyer not afraid to get his hands dirty. He fascinated the staff, and the attendees with his stories about his life, and Woodstock. Sam was one of the most intelligent, kind, easy going, humble, knowledgeable men I ever met. Though I was a very small part of his life, I valued his friendship highly. He was one of the best, and will be missed by I, and many others on the Americade staff, just as he will in the rest of his life. RIP friend..........You have more than earned it. My sincere condolences to his family. We have lost a wonderful man.
