Obituary of Lucille Streifer

Lucille Streifer, formerly of the area, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2017, at 101 years old in St. Louis Park, MN. The daughter of the late Joseph and Miriam (Rubin) Wisoff, Lucille was born on February 13, 1916 in Brooklyn, NY.

 Survivors include her 3 children; Rhoda Streifer, Joan Olson (Garry) and Mark Streifer; seven grandchildren, Sumie (David), Hiroko (Gabe), Matthew, Erika, Hilary, Jessica and Zachery (Emily); and six great grandchildren.

 Lucille is preceded in death by her husband Harold Streifer; her parents Joseph and Miriam Wisoff, one sister Dorothy Grant and one brother Robert Wisoff.

A graveside funeral service will take place on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 2:00PM at the Jewish General Aide Cemetery, Holmes Road, Harris, NY. 

Memorial contributions in Lucille’s name may be made to your local Humane Society, in honor of her love of dogs.
