Obituary of Irene Roth

Irene Roth of The Villages FL, formerly of the area, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Osprey Point in Bushnell, Florida. She was 88. The daughter of the late Harry and Rose Roseman Putterman, Irene was born on May 6, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY.
 
A family statement reads: “Mom's favorite pleasure in life was her family.  She also enjoyed music, and dancing. She played piano and loved to sing, especially with her sisters as they entertained their parents, Rose and Harry.”
 
Survivors include her Daughter, Cheryl Roth, Monticello NY, Son, Ira Roth(Mary Ellen), The Villages Florida, Two Sisters: Laura Pressman(Lee) and Thelma Geller(Eli), Grandsons; Jared Roth(Yvette) and Jason Roth(Polina) as well as her Great Grandchildren Jaden, Tyler, Ava, and Tristan. She loved all of her nieces, nephews, Sisters and Brothers in laws, cousins, and friends.

Aside from her parents, Irene was pre-deceased by her husband, Aaron Roth.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 1:00PM at the Swan Lake Synagogue Cemetery, Hy-San-Ah Road, Liberty, NY. 

Memorial contributions in Irene’s name may be made to a hospice charity of your choice.
