Love to all who knew and loved Anita. I had the distinct pleasure and privilege of meeting and 'teaching' Anita in 2007 and 2008 in my Brookline Adult Ed writing classes--a then-young octogenarian with a great spark that kindled many an engaging story on paper. She was truly an inspiration to us all, and I remember her with fondness and admiration. My condolences to the entire Garlick family. I knew Joe and Anita very well when I lived in Monticello. I have fond memories of their living quarters above the funeral home as I used to babysit for Saul and Jonathan. Their family contributed so much to the village of Monticello.
